Kumano Kanko Kaihatsu Co.,Ltd.(President: Natsuo Okumura) has been running a tourist boat business in Dorokyo for many years.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to our customers, travel officials,
and related regulatory agencies for their patronage and support from the days of propeller ships in the past to recent years as Doro Gorge Jet Boat.
By the way, since the "Kii Peninsula Great Flood" in 2011, the amount of sediment flowing into the Kumano River and Kitayama River,
where Doro Gorge Jet Boat navigate, has increased year by year, and the work efficiency of route maintenance by the company has deteriorated significantly,
and the effort required to maintain the route is excessive.
Under these circumstances, we have reviewed various work and operation methods, and have made a company-wide effort to survive the business.
However, due to the aging of workers and the decrease in customers due to the spread of the new coronavirus infection,
we regret to inform you that we have decided to suspend the business as follows.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude for your patronage and support for the DoroGorge Jet Boat.
